At Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery, Inc. (hereafter "MHMM"), it is our management policy to contribute to the development of society through strict compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and by providing both inviting and impressive values for all aspects of "performance", "reliability", "economy", "safety" and "product delivery" through close and candid communication with our customers, faithful fulfillment of contracts, and after-sales service activities. All business activities conducted by our officers and employees will be based on this policy.

All officers and employees recognize the importance of the observance of laws, rules and regulations, and will endeavor to conduct business in a lawful and appropriate manner in accordance with the compliance guidelines stipulated below. These guidelines serve as basic conduct guidelines to ensure that laws or social rules in daily business are upheld.

MHMM will conduct sensible company activities in compliance with laws and in an appropriate manner, as well as contribute to society by providing safe, high-quality products and services.

1. We will make efforts to provide safe, high-quality products and services.
2. In conducting business activities, we will pursue fair and free intercorporate competition in compliance with the Antimonopoly Act; the Act against Delay in Payment of Subcontract Proceeds, Etc. to Subcontractors; the Construction Business Act and other relevant regulations.
3. Regarding gift giving and entertainment involving civil officers and suppliers, whether in Japan or abroad, we will not violate laws or deviate from socially accepted practices.
4. We will implement appropriate accounting and tax accounting in accordance with relevant laws, accounting standards, and internal regulations.
5. In relation to overseas business, we will follow laws related to import and export as well as all local laws.
6. We will handle all confidential information with the utmost care, and respect all intellectual property belonging both to our company as well as　other companies.

We will work to preserve the environment and live in harmony with society as a good corporate citizen.

1. We will follow environment-related laws, and work to preserve the environment.
2. We will disclose information related to the management appropriately in a timely manner.
3. We will not make political donations exceeding the amount stipulated in the regulations.
4. We will respond firmly to antisocial forces.

The company will secure a safe, healthy work environment, and respect the personality and individuality of its employees. All company members shall make a clear distinction between public and private issues, comply with laws and internal rules, and execute their duties faithfully.

1. The company will follow labor-related laws and endeavor to secure a safe, healthy work environment.
2. Company members shall follow internal regulations such as labor regulations.
3. Company members shall not engage in discriminative behavior, sexual harassment or other harassment by virtue of one's position in the company.
4. Company members shall handle company secrets appropriately, and shall not disclose them without prior consent. Employees shall also endeavor to avoid leakage of company information by always using the information system in an appropriate manner.
