Receives "2008 Asian Enterprises Award" from Asian Manufacturing Association
We received the "2008 Asian Enterprises Award" from the Asian Manufacturing Association at the Asian Manufacturing Forum held on September 24 in Shenyang, China. The "Asian Enterprises Award" is given to enterprises that have significantly contributed to the development of the manufacturing industry in Asia. After receiving the award, we also had the honor of meeting with Jia Qinglin, member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
The "Asian Enterprises Award" is an honorable award given to an enterprise selected from among the world's top 500 enterprises. We believe that we received this honorable award, thanks to our steady, cooperative business relationships with manufacturers in China that have continued for more than 20 years, the great relationship of mutual trust that has been built over that period, and the high appraisal given to us by a large number of customers we have won over through these cooperative relationships. Indeed, this indicates that our commitment to "monozukuri" means the attitude of manufacturing has been given appraisal.
In the future, with this award serving as encouragement, we hope to increase our share in the Chinese market through partnerships with manufacturers in China and to aim at becoming a global manufacturer that will further make huge leaps by swiftly and accurately responding to domestic needs and the needs in India and other regions.
