Received "2009 Iron and Steel Skillful Achievement Award" from Iron and Steel Institute of Japan

Takao Sakanaka, working for Main Group, Rolling Mill Design Department, Hiroshima Machinery Works, won "2009 Iron and Steel Skillful Achievement Award" from the Iron and Steel Institute of Japan. He received the award on March 28, 2009.

The title of the award work is "Contribution to the development and design of HC mill and UC mill." This award is given to "persons who have excellent techniques and skills in the operations for iron, steel, and related area, and contributed to the research and engineering development, skill transfer, or educational support." He was valued for his leading role in hardware design of HC and UC mills.

This award is a great encouragement to all we concerned.
