2010 Prize for Research and Development of Japan Society for Technology of Plasticity Awarded Three Times in Three Consecutive Years - Improvement in Rolling Performance of Hot Rolling Mill by Using Mill Stabilizer -
This time, the mill stabilizer developed by Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery, Inc. has been awarded the prize for the research and development of Japan Society for Technology of Plasticity.
This equipment was developed in collaboration with Hiroshima Research Institute of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd in order to improve the rolling performance of hot rolling mill, our core product and has been already introduced into the 50 rolling mills having excellent performance as having been expected respectively.
These track records have been recognized and further efforts at the research and development are expected, so that the prize has been awarded this time. The prize for the research and development was awarded to us the third time in three consecutive years.
Availing of this opportunity as source of spiritual food, all of our staff concerned is determined to hereafter make every effort to facilitate technology development so that we can meet customers’ requirements and do much for the development of community.
