Endless Rolling Mill

We have a large reference list of mills in this field which has permitted us to develop a large number of technologies that were the first of their kind in the world.

（1）Induction heating Joining type

• Delivered to JFE Chiba No.3 HSM in December 1996.

（2）Super deformation shear Joining type

• Delivered to Posco, Pohang No.2 HSM in 2006.

Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery, Inc. was the first in the world to develop both of the above types of Joining equipment.

The dynamic pair cross mill, which is able to cross the rolls during the rolling process, was developed in order to allow control of the strip crown and strip shape during rolling in order to deal with flying strip thickness changes and growing of roll thermal crowns during continuous rolling.
