Advanced Strip Wiper
For the strip wiper which removes residual rolling oil from the strip surface after rolling, we can propose an optimal wiping method to suit the rolled material, type of rolling oil, rolling speed, and a variety of other conditions.
With an ordinary rolling mill, the most common method is non-contact wiping using an air blow, however with Sendzimir mills, CR mills, and special steel UC mills, a contact wiping method is used to remove coolant from the strip surface.
In addition to conventional roller wipers and rubber tube wipers, we also offer original HC wipers developed by our company, shell-type roller wipers, and others in order to provide the optimal strip wiping system for each application.
HC Wiper
HC wipers use an aero-static bearing to provide support for the small-diameter wiping rollers to match the material strip width. This reduces roller deflection, and delivers good wiping performance across the full width of the strip.
In addition, the use of small-diameter, low-inertia rollers and ultra-low friction bearings provides superior wiping performance, higher-speed tracking, and better protection of the strip surface from scratches than ordinary roller wipers.

Shell-Type Roller Wiper
The shell-type roller wiper uses a thin-walled cylindrical roller to generate even wiping pressure in the strip width direction. We offer 2Hi and 4Hi types according to the application.
